Sahara Once Lush and Populated

Just a reminder that the Earth - and portions of it - have cooled and heated dramatically, long before man started pumping greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

To be fair, the article doesn't really address temperature, only average annual precipitation; but there's plenty of evidence that climate change is a pre-industrial feature of life in this solar system. Climate change on Mars, measured in the retreat of its polar caps demonstrates that there's more than industrially-generated greenhouse gases involved.
