Last week I talked about the polls showing a surge by Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador in Mexico's Presidential race. Today two polls report the race either tied, or with Calderon back ahead. The poll in which Calderon leads shows support for Roberto Madrazo cratering, in keeping with the Michael Barone theory about the race.
Let's hope for a minimum of scandal in vote counting. Do you suppose we can count on Jimmy Carter to keep things honest? I mean, he's the one that keeps things honest everywhere!
