Coming Back from a Long Weekend

Light blogging this weekend due to a family trip (Happy Birthday, Dad).

A few quickies on the Super Bowl. Check out the ads here and vote for the best ones. In a decidedly underwhelming field, I had to go with 'Rock, Paper, Scissors:'



So I don't mind humorous violence. Sue me. I also liked the Sprint 'crime deterrent' phone commercial.

In other Super Bowl news, a lot of attention was given to the fact that the game featured not only the first African-American head coach in the Super Bowl, but the first two. Less noticed was that it was apparently the first matchup of 'confessing Christian' coaches.
