The Bronx Bombers have been on quite a tear lately, and it's significantly improved their chances of making the postseason. According to CoolStandings.com, they now have a 70 percent chance of appearing in the watered-down baseball playoffs.
Each of the last 5 World Series has featured a Wild Card team. In 3 of those years, the Wild Card won the Series.
